Part and design
Describe the part and intended use. Identify the current drawing or model revision, available files and any changes still under review.
Deliverable and quantity
State whether you need a mold, molded parts, a prototype or a combination. Include initial quantity and likely repeat demand.
Material and acceptance
Provide the required material and grade if known. Identify critical dimensions, visible surfaces and any performance or inspection requirements.
Schedule and destination
Share the target dates and delivery destination. If tooling will go to another facility, include the machine and handover requirements available.
